Does the look and feel of your website match the look and feel of your church and/or your ministry. One thing to remember is that your website will communicate something, one way or the other. It may be exactly what you want communicated or it may not.

In today’s culture, your website is the front door to your church. Keep in mind that in the web culture of today, the building relationships are at the heart of the Internet. The ability for people to make connection with others is becoming the driving force in the way things are structured, designed and facilitated within the web environment.

I believe that if you permit people to share needs, ideas, and ask questions on your website, you have a much greater potential to build community and trust with those who may visit your site and then they will show up at your door.

I would encourage you to create a “Sense of Community” with your website and remember that the Internet isn’t just a mere repository of information or simply a destination, but if we embrace the fact that the Internet is a journey and a platform, we will be much more successful at building relationships with this incredible tool.
